Emergency Management

To provide a comprehensive Emergency Management program which coordinates people and resources to protect the lives, property and the environment within Craighead County by using an all hazards approach of mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery for disaster and emergencies.

Emergency Health Care

In the event of poisoning, chronic illness, severe injury, or any other potential life-threatening medical emergency , please do not hesitate to dial 911 to have an ambulance dispatched on location immediately.

If you need to refer to a local hospital, clinic, or other medical facility in regards to a non life-threatening situation, please use the included listing to make a call or otherwise make contact with local medical authorities.

Fire Departments

In the event of a local disaster, open range fire, house fire, industrial or commercial building fire, please notify emergency officials by dialing 911 immediately.

If you need to speak directly to your local emergency management team or fire department regarding non life threatening circumstances, please refer to the list of fire departments included.

 

Police Departments

In the event of a crime in progress, emergency medical necessity, or traffic accident involving personal injury or collateral damage, please call 911. 

If you need to speak directly to authorities regarding a domestic dispute, public nuisance, environmental hazard, or otherwise non life threatening occurences that require special attention, please refer to this comprehensive list of local, state, and regional law enforcement authorites.
